Winter Kill has the most fascinating woman character to come along in a long time -- and she's totally evil! This is a Western with many great characters,to root for and to hate. A must for any reader.

Winter Kill will grab you in many ways. It's an exciting adventure, of course. His books always are. The interrelationships with the three brothers and their father -- and a wonderfully created Welsh marshal will keep you turning the pages. I hope there's a sequel to this one. Judging from the ending, there might be.
