Pixie Hollow and the origin of Tinkerbell has been a favorite story of mine. I've always wondered what the Queen’s story was. I found videos on Instagram talking about this book. I purchased my copy and couldn't put it down after buying it. Loved every moment.

I must admit, I do enjoy the stories from Pixie Hollow and I have watched several of those movies and really liked them. So when I saw that one of my favorite authors (Allison Saft) was going to write a novel about Queen Clarion, I knew I had to get my hands on a copy for it would be a fun pleasure to read! And I was not wrong. :)
Taking place before Queen Clarion was actually queen, this book still has the wonders of the Pixie Hollow I know, from tinker fairies like Petra and and scout fairies like Artemis who are both stalwart companions and good friends of Clarion. I love how this story brought Clarion to life, making her feel real, complete with feelings, doubts of her magic which isn't working right, and trying to figure out what kind of queen she wants to be. Then add in the gorgeously sweet Lord Milori, guardian of the Winter Wood and the Nightmares trapped within. His relationship with Clarion is so sweet and bittersweet and between that and them trying to figure out how to stop the Nightmares from destroying everything. It makes for a wonderful tale and I enjoyed every minute of reading it!
