This is a book that really worked for me. I read it and reread it until it dawned on me that the guy I'd been seeing was not a committer. He told me that, but I thought I could change him. In reading Why Men Commit, I felt enlightened and empowered. I found the strength to get rid of Phil and follow the advice of Susan Kelley and prospected for a new mate. Then I eliminated the non-committers. I kept prospecting until I was sure James was Mr. Right and then I asked for the commitment because I had no intention of wasting another five years. I wanted to get married and if he didn't, I'd find someone else. James proposed and gave me a beautiful diamond ring for my birthday. I highly recommend this book because IT REALLY WORKS.
