"Who's Been Walking on My Floor?" by Sally Symes and Steve Lavis is an absolutely delightful book for young children (3-8). Mrs. MacDonald, the farmer's wife, comes home to find muddy footprints all over her floors. She follows them to find the owners, one by one, each one hiding inside a pop-up, and then together they follow other footprints to find the rest. When the rooster, dog, pig, horse all have been found, they help clean the floor and then have a party. My 3 1/2 year old grandson, familiar with the "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" song, loved it. Pictures are in bright colors, and pages with pop-ups are sturdy.
Entertaining!

A cute story about a woman finding all of the culprits who left muddy footprints on her clean floor. I bought this for my daughter when she was three and even now, a year later, she still loves it. In fact, she sits down to "read" it by herself now since she almost has it memorized. Even though it's a pop-up book, it's quite sturdy and (knock wood) we have yet to rip any of the pages.
