I read this book several times. Masseys life was interesting and well written by him, easy to read, and interesting old black and white photos. His experiences in the army really sticks in my mind, and this book ends with his beginning into his choice of careers: acting. He also has a second book that reviews this, and then continues through the next half of his life, and I recommend that one also, after this one. It depicts the way his career and family life went on, and about his many movies he was in.

Yet his book was also quite moving as he reminisced on his wartime memories that will practically leave you in tears.Raymond Massey's autobiography is a very quick read, and there is added enjoyment with the several photos featured in the picture section. This book is a must for all Raymond Massey fans. It really is one of the best books I've ever read.
