When I first received this book, I just openned to a page and ouch, it hit my heart what Ms McMillen wrote. Then I picked a different page to read and again felt that ouch in my heart. What she wrote was so appropriate to how I was feeling for myself, as if she was with me the entire day and wrote words that would help myself be stronger. It's a wonderful book, I ended up buying more to give as gifts for those I love.
A small, but valuable gem

I am one of the lucky ones to own a hand-made version, but the power and gift remain tucked between the covers. I keep this book handy on the window ledge and often revisit its lovely and honest positive reflections, reminders and validations. A wonderful gift to yourself first and then to others. All I can say is just buy it!!! A deeply yet simply written book that touches the very soul of who we are...Meister Ekhert once wrote "The soul grows by subtraction, not by addition". In just a few lines the author has captured what it means to truly be happy and that is to realize freedom within.

I came across this book while browsing a bricks and mortar book store. I sat down and read it right there. The author's words are so simple yet profound. It made me think..."If I really loved myself, what would I do? And why am I not doing it now?" The author's words have resonated through my entire life, and the story of her life and death really touched me. I can't recommend this book enough.

This book is so thoughful and inspirational and brings with it a very personal touch. It is great to keep a copy next to your bed to remind you of the importance of taking the time to love yourself. Wonderful gift idea! I'm not one to collect self-help/inspiration books, but I can not stress enough, that this book is a must have!
