From the creators of the luminous GOOD NIGHT ENGINES comes an energetic good-morning book filled with short, rhyming text that fairly bounces off the page, lots of onomatopoeia, and bright, vibrant close-ups of all kinds of vehicles and aircraft. School buses, garbage trucks, street sweepers, helicopters, and more crank up their noisy motors as a little boy climbs out of bed and starts his day. No little engine lover should be without a copy of this winsome book, as dynamic and peppy as itscompanion was soothing and sleepy.
This was one of my toddler's favorite books from the first time we read it. It is the perfect length for a child who is getting too old for board books but can't sit through a longer story. The pictures are well done and there are plenty of truck noises to keep him entertained (but not so many that I feel stupid reading it to him). The truck noises are what make the book in my opinion. I love how the real world trucks are mimicked in the the little boys' playtime.
My 2 year old knows all the words..

Both my kids (girl 3, boy 2) love this book and the companion "Good Night Engines". And what's more important - I even like it. Sweet books with fun words to read and imaginative illustrations. Not too short, not too long.
