"Who would you want to be with at the end of the world?" It may seem like a hypothetical question, but for Ang lica, who lives in a world dominated by climate catastrophe with extreme weather driving many to shelter indoors, it becomes an obsession. Manu and Susana, her neighbors and friends in Madrid, are one possibility: the three of them together, lying on the grass in a park; in each other's arms, watching a movie in Manu's room; or spending their last days in the bar where Susana works. But before she can answer, Ang lica must return to Mexico, taking with her the question that will continue to haunt her even after the world collapses.
