This is my 3.5 yr old daughter's new favorite book. We've read it every night for the last two weeks at her request. The illustrations are quite nice and the story flows in a readable and entertaining way. Each page has a 'lift-the-flap' that either foreshadows what is to come or shows an event sequence described on the page. The book also includes an audio CD of the story. I think the book is fine w/out the CD, but I suppose it might be nice when I just can't bare to read it one more time. I would definitely recommend this book for 1 to 5 yr olds and their parents/caregivers.
