just finished reading this book. I am so glad that I did. Loved the story! But it is a very scary read. Not in the Halloween, monster, ghost sense. It is scary in what it details what folks will do for power, money, prestige, etc. Killing a child, or a woman, or a senior or a man is taken in stride with no thought to what the families of those people will go thru. Just a sense of I want, so I will take. And unfortunately, some of those folks end up in power which gives them a wider range. Almost makes me paranoid! But as I said, it was an enjoyable read!
Very exciting tale of intrigue

Shaw is a very interesting character similar to Oliver Stone. The story is compelling full of intrigue with a fair amount of justice for the culprits

If the book is by Baldacci--read it! He is an outstanding writer--love his books.

As an avid reader of Baldacci's works, I have enjoyed all his creations. His latest is definitely one of his best. It grabs you from the start and keeps the action moving until the very last pages. I would love to see this one hit the big screen. I'm sure it would be a hit there also. If you liked any of his past works (or even heard of them) buy this. You won't be disappointed.

Along with The Camel Club, this is the best David Baldacci book I've read. Fans of Baldacci, as well as newcomers, will love reading this book.
