This is the cutest book. My baby is only 2 months old and he goes nuts when we read it to him. Now we buy this for all the babies on the way that we know. The Very Happy Hen is also very cute but we love this one more.

Only the elephant's nose is gone after more than a year of almost daily readings of this pop-up at my 3 year old's insistence. We have almost all of the series (The silly shark, etc) and I regularly give them as gifts for 2 and 3 year olds as well - with universal parental and child acclaim. The text is in short rhymes but it is the really wonderful pop-ups that make these books a hit. I unfortunately don't see these in the "big" book stores anymore.
