The Usui Reiki Handbook: A Course in Reiki Healing

The Usui Reiki Handbook: A Course in Reiki Healing is a compilation of my research and study of the healing art of Reiki discovered and originally taught by Dr. Mikao Usui. My training in Reiki was completed through the Reiki Blessings Academy Online by my teacher Dharmadevi Romano. This book combines the tradition passed down to me through my teacher as well as additions added by myself from my own Reiki practice, Universal Light Reiki and Natural Healing based in Carson City, Michigan.As a Certified Reiki Master/Teacher I have taught many people over the years to harness the healing power of the Usui Reiki System. I also have added the use of crystals and auric reading and healing to my practice. These practices have added a great deal to the original practice as I was taught through Reiki Blessings Academy.The purpose of this book is to share my knowledge of this ancient healing art with those who may have an interest in the healing arts, but the inability to afford to pay hundreds of dollars for training through an online or in person teaching experience. In other words this book is a complete and faithful teaching guide that's only financial obligation is the one time cost of the price of this book.The course is broken down into the three tiered levels of Reiki training, Level 1, Level 2, and the Master Level. Along with the typical Levels I have also included much of the history and lineage of the Usui Reiki tradition. The history of this tradition is an important part of this training, and many other Reiki instructors leave that history out of their teachings. It is my feeling that history can teach us a great deal more than just a hands on teaching experience. Dr. Mikao Usui or Usui Sensei as he is also referred intended this healing modality to be open to everyone who wishes to learn regardless of their financial status. It is my hope that through this book and it's wisdom teachings that I can continue Usui Sensei's tradition of sharing this important, powerful, and transformative healing modality with the world.
