Two-for-one action! I love all these fabulous, high-quality reprints. The creepy Thousand-Headed Man story is a classic, but The Gold Ogre is quite unique in the Doc Savage series. I would recommend this story for any young readers or older fans of the Hardy Boys. This book reads like a "What If...?" version of Doc meets the Hardys, wherein an intrepid group of young sleuths stumble upon a bizarre mystery and then bring in Doc and get to watch the amazing Man of Bronze first hand. This will have every neighborhood gang of friends forming a sleuth troop. Well worth the read for adventure fans or to study for Pulpstorians.
