Counter to the opinions of the other reviewers on this app, I found this book to be… extremely disappointing. I read the Tao of Pooh over a decade ago, then read it again earlier this week, and it held up marvelously. But then I read the Te of Piglet for the first time and it felt devoid of what made the Tao of Pooh nourishing and impactful. It’s about 10% what you’d expect and 90% extended rants about everything the author finds wrong with the world from feminists to microwaves to human use of tools (yes really). It’s unsurprising to find a decade passed between the writing of these books; I just wonder what transpired for him personally. He mentions in the book that he didn’t want to write a sequel and that comes through clearly. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I love this second Edition to the series. The way the Author in both book talks to the Characters and have them involved and explaining what they meant or an example with a story. I can hear them in my head like they are really there with me.

This book wasn't bad, I just liked Pooh's better. Hopefully they won't make a "Depression of Eeyore" lol.

Hoff manages to unravel the core of the Tao and the Te using images we all know and love. He makes Taoism accessible and recognizable. These are well written, easily read and re-read. Using these images to illustrate a philosophy that can be very elusive is a master stroke.

Another great book by Benjamin Hoff and a perfect accompaniment to the Tao of Pooh, his first book of these 2. Like the other, I continually buy this book just to find myself gifting it away and then buying another copy for myself so that I can continue to re-read it. Always an inspiration.

Just finished reading "The Tao of Pooh" and am halfway through this one. As a lover of the Winnie the Pooh books (and children's stories in general) and a more simple, happy way of life, I am thoroughly enjoying this book and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a little help in trying to live life differently, more simply, more easily and, by default, more happily!
