One of my first "keepers"

This book has been a good friend to me since I bought it at a library sale some 10 years ago. Angelica is a mature, sensible heroine who chooses to live as a governess rather than live with her cousin and his new wife. Giles is a man afraid to love again because of hurt in the past. I can't count how many times I've re-read the story of Angelica and Giles, but each time I am still pulled in, hoping they will realize their mutual feelings before it is too late. Another thing to love about the book, in my opinion, is that it is clean - appropriate for a young girl wanting to read a romance but shouldn't be exposed to more than the allusion of sex.
