This cute little rhyme will put a smile on the face of the little ones and their special grown-ups when they find out just how the royal dog solves the mail delivery dilemma for the queen (spoil alert - he will use the services of the royal snail). The story was inspired by a Christmas package I sent to my brilliant editor Leonora during the 2018 holiday season. Anxious for Leonora to receive the box of goodies, I have started every morning of December by tracking the parcels until it finally reached my editor a week and a half later. To that Leonora suggested that they must as well have strapped the package to the back of the snail as it surely doesn't take that long to transport a small parcel between Warwickshire and Surrey. And that's how the story was born...
