Good Revolutionary War Novel

Our family has been enjoying this book immensely - especially since the heroine is one of our daughter-in-law's ancestors! Even without that, it paints a good picture of life in South Carolina during the Revolutionary War - I suspect it was a very different experience than it was further north. And, it shows that there have always been tough women in the family! This will be a family keepsake for years to come - and a good lesson for our young grandaughter and other women who will become our descendents. Thank you Marnie, for making our Christmas 2009 special.
