An intriguing plot meshes the past and present into a story that takes David Young down a path he never imagined. While written for a national audience, the author's LDS faith comes through in this crisp, clean mystery novel. City-born artist David Young has traveled a difficult journey during his twenty-seven years. It has finally taken him to a spectacular valley in the Pacific Northwest. Settled in a comfortable cabin he is free at last to explore, paint, and create the future of his dreams. However, a mysterious woman's disappearance, a haunting legend, and unsettling dreams unnerve David, threatening his hopes and plunging him into the most formidable struggle of his life. While he is engulfed in mystery, adventure, and romance, an unseen hand draws him to his destiny, and into the rugged wilderness of Alaska.
I met the author at a book signing. She was so nice in answering my questions unrelated to her book, that I decided to take a look. The description on the back cover captured my attention; the characters in the book captured my heart, and the mystery kept my interest! The characters were charming and soon felt like friends. I easily got caught up in their lives and couldn't put the book down! I definitely will buy the next book and look forward to seeing my story friends again.
Excellent read!

This is a great read! I usually read adventure and fantasy novels but I was enthralled with this book. The story line and characters draw you in leaving you to wonder what will happen next. There is a little bit of everything in this novel including adventure, mystery and some romance that isn't overbearing. I can't wait to read the second one!
In the Tradition of "Somewhere in Time"

I got my copy of this book from my husband, who met the author at a booksigning. From the first page, I was intrigued, because I am a romance author, and because of the back cover blurb. It sounds cliche, but this is a haunting contemporary and historical romance that stretches through time, past conventional ideas about love, and into the reader's mind as a mystery. Readers who don't like romance will be pleasantly surprised by the multi faceted levels of this lovely novel!
