Third graders enjoyed this silly story of a rooster who doesn't [...]-a-doodle-doo and the henhouse supervisor who demands that he does. Add to this humorous plot, comical accessories for the chicken characters and you have a winner! When Ned, the "mixed-up" rooster, sleeps in again, head hen, Daisy Mae, fires him.
