Prequel to the movie....

This book is a story of Yaotl and how he and his generals went about destroying various civilizations in what is now South America. It is told from the perspective of an alien who is assigned to observe the earth from his perch on a different planet. If you watched TMNT the movie, you will remember how they briefly explain the legend of Yaotl. Well this book is a little more specific. The writing and the pictures are great (which is saying something because the other TMNT picture books are horrible), the only thing that my kids did not like about this book is that the turtles were only mentioned on the very last page. This dissapointed them because they thought that it was a "turtle" book. If you are interested in the prequel to TMNT the movie, then purchase this book. Keep in mind though, that the turtles are the ones with the brief mention. A so-so bang for your buck.
