Ronald "Ronnie" Kray and Reginald "Reggie" Kray, identical twin brothers born on 24th October 1933, Hoxton, London, England, UK, were West End nightclub owners and gangsters, the main leaders of organised crime in the East End of London during the 1950s and 1960s. With their gang, known as "The Firm," the Krays were involved in murder, armed robbery, arson, protection rackets and grievous bodily harm. The pair mixed with politicians and prominent entertainers including Diana Dors, Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland, becoming celebrities during the 1960s, being photographed by David Bailey and interviewed on TV.
