This book is very well written and to me as an Irish-American shows a powerful side of my heritage. The stories talk about the brigades and their officers in the civil war. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in irish history.

This book is the best ever published showing extensive artifacts related to the Irish Brigade. In addition, the history is well written and accurate. I cannot recommend it any more highly.
