I love a good haunted house horror

I won't lie. I struggled with this book. It wasn't that it was bad because it isn't, it's a great read; it just couldn't hold my attention consistently. While the storyline is solid and one I love, there are stretches that seemed to slow the pace down, which is why I kept getting pulled out of the story. I also found a pretty big inconsistency. Fincher initially lent the car to Griffin, but on page 250 (print edition) and page 221 (kindle edition), it's Orville that's borrowing it instead, with no explanation as to how Orville even knows Fincher, or the how and why the car was no longer being lent Griffin. I think anyone that likes haunted houses will enjoy this book. I know I'll absolutely be looking into reading more from this author. Due to the severity of the inconsistency I noted, and the book's lack to keep me engaged, I give this book 3 of 5 Paws.
