I didn't enjoy reading this book as much as I hoped I would. It wasn't equivalent to America Singer's experience with the Selection at all. Also, I couldn't wrap my head around this story's plot: America and Maxon forcing Eadlyn to have a Selection of her own when they were so against it in the series before.
I found Eadlyn to be unlikeable, very bratty, which makes it a bit difficult to like her as the story progresses. She is nothing like I'd imagine America and Maxon's daughter to be which was a huge letdown.
Fun addition to the series!

I loved being able to see the future of Maxon, America, Lucy, Aspen, Marlee, and Carter as almost a family and see their legacy unfold, giving hope for the future of Illea.
