Cassie Kyriakis was wrongly accused of murdering her father and jailed , leaving her wild-child roots and Seb, her one true love, behind her.... Now, the throne awaits Prince Sebastian Karedes Seb once loved Cassie so passionately he would have chosen her over his kingdom. But she rejected him. Now that she's been released from prison, he discovers that she may be innocent and that she gave birth to his baby in her cell Sebastian must choose between honor and duty. He will claim his love-child--but what about Cassie?
Th is is the 6th tittle in the Karedes series, it's a good read with a strong heroine and a strong male lead, the only thing missing for me was the fact that it lost the link with the other characters in the preview books. but in this one we see the strong love of Casie for her son and the determination of Sebastian to make his son Happy and recuperate a bit of the years he lost with his son.The only thing that was off for me was that it was never clear what happen on the day Cassie's father died, what he did to her besides the scar, and the fact that we never get to see if her name was cleared or the results of the interview she gave to the journalist on the ferry and the end came bit too fast without all those things. but if you have enjoy the other books in the Royal house of Karedes Series you'll like this one.
