Ok, people who gave this book a bad review obviously don't like to laugh at themselves. Don't take it so seriously! It's just meant to point out some of the stupid qualities of people. I found a lot of the qualities in myself. lol. I'm a weird cross between a nature nut and a computer geek. Don't expect a literarry masterpiece here, but it was something really funny to read in the car! ~_^

The Field Guide to White People is a great book for people to laugh at themselves along with other overly stereotyped groups. If you the reader cannot handle satire, then you are both very stupid and not fit to read this book. Enjoy this book for what it is- a joke. Don't expect a great literary piece with this, but don't be offended by the obviously harmless classifications of white people. For those who were offended by this book, I'm sorry for your friends and family because obviously you have no sense of humor and are not fun to be around. I would definitely recommend this book.
Funnier than the Yuppie or Preppie Handbook

This book is a riot! It's going to be a classic, I just know it. The authors have a great gift for capturing the essence of a "type" without resorting to the usual stereotypes. Everyone should check this out!
