I could not put this one down! Once I started reading I was hooked. The plot twists and turns keep you riveted. Hobbs' experience as a pilot in Alaska and the Yukon is evident in his vivid description of this rugged land. He makes you feel like you are right there with Travis Banks as this tale of savagery and revenge unfolds. The visceral imagery Hobbs creates in the mind of the reader leads me to believe that this would make an awesome movie.

My wife read this book in two days and I read it in four. This is something because it usually takes me 4 months. The action and humor is non-stop and the descriptive way the Author writes places you directly in the scene, you will love it and the movie will be an Oscar winner for sure.

This was an excellent read! The character development was great. The main star was enjoyable and the supporting cast were well placed. Hobbs style includes a steady edge of humor along with a crisp dialogue. The further I read the more engaged I became in a plot that took several fascinting turns. I rate "The Catch" a strong 5-Stars. Someone ought to make a movie out of this one!

I was able to get an advanced copy of this book before it hit the shelves. If you like mystery/thrillers - this is the book of the year. It is absolutely amazing! I can't wait for the movie. JMD
