Becca crashes the wedding of a man who did her cousin wrong with the intent of speaking up during the ceremony. She is stopped by Christos Carides, the cousin of the groom, who fell in love/lust with Becca the minute he saw her. She thinks he is security. He doesn't tell her his last name as she has stated she hates the Carides. He winds up helping her get back to her car, but then her car breaks down and it's snowing heavily. Fortunately, he was following her and picks her up and they make it to a nearby hotel. Naturally, they are unable to resist the mutual sexual attraction. When she discovers he's a Carides she hates him. But she really loves him. And then she finds out she's pregnant. And then he asks her to marry him. And...it's the usual formula, but what sets this book apart is it was very entertainally written. It was quite humorous and very enjoyable. The verbal banter between Becca and Christos was great. Becca is not taken in like some heroines and believes in Christos, for the most part. I found the book to be very romantic, humorous, entertaining, enjoyable, and I loved it. Can't wait to read more of Kim Lawrence's books!
