Well-written, inspirational tale of opposites

This is a captivating story of two people with nothing in common except the 6 month old baby of their recently deceased best friends. Granted joint temporary custody, Drew and Sadie only have 8 weeks to decide which one of them will become the permanent guardian. Sadie takes a leave of absence from her university teaching job in the city to stay at Drew's ranch with his family while they decide what is in the baby girl's best interest.
A very well-written story that grabbed me in the first chapter, this tale of opposites kept me engaged until the very end. This is the first book in a new series but can stand alone. I am anxiously awaiting the next tale in the Lazy M Ranch series. I highly recommend reading this book.
