That's what Friends Are For is a book about girls and boys becomming to like the other sex more.Boys start asking girls to be their girlfriends, and girls start to flirt with boys.A girl named Mags does not like this change ,and blames the change on a girl named Susie.Mags does not think her best friend will start to act like the rest of the sixth grade but he does.The promblem with this book is it gets boring at times;but at other times it is very intersting.This is a great book whoever you are and I think you should read it.
