We bought this book for our daughter a month after she was born. We have read it to her at least once a month since then. It is a great book about a little girl inventor. Another storyline from Reynold's that celebrates individuality and uniqueness; this time the character, a mouse, learns that even though things don't always go as she plans or expects, she still gets her wish in the end..just through different means. This book is viewed as a children's book, but like Reynold's others,( The Dot, Ish, So Few of Me, The North Star,) adults will appreciate the underlying theme; in this one, it's the idea that we may never know how we c=impact people's lives. This book is out of print, but you can still find copies from other sellers.
