S.W.A.G. Episode 3: Jax Stone
The SWAG team is like the SWAT team, only it's Special Weapons and Gamers instead of Tactics. In book one, Cam a Minecraft master is recruited to help kickstart the new unit. Book two introduces Veronica and her sister Small Fry. Now it's time for the team to add some muscle to the group! Jax Stone is the perfect candidate. He's a football prodigy that binge-plays Fortnite when he's not pumping iron. The only problem is convincing him to join. He has so much going for him and his parents barely let him out of the house. SWAG engineers have developed a drone to carry Gramps (the robot from book 2) into the criminal's compound. Will Cam be able to convince Jax to join the team? Will they be able to recover the stolen consoles? Read this action-packed crime thriller with relatable characters. You don't have to be a Gamer or play the games mentioned to love this series because there is something for everyone! As the secret unit grows, they experience growing pains. The team has to balance friendships with the weight of the mission. It all plays out in a fun, high-energy, and engaging read for the middle grades. Great for ages 9+
