Fun and catchy

This is a book we've been reading for a number of years -- it's catchy in it's rhyming and rhythm, with fun illustrations and the flashing light, for the younger listeners to get involved. Our battery has been dead for a couple of years but...the book is still attractive. I'm sad it's out of print -- was looking for a copy for our nephew.

My son received this book as a gift when he was 4 and it has been a favorite for the past 3 years. The rhyming story is funny and full of action - the flashing lights and horn sounds add excitement and the sturdy board pages ensure that the book will survive through much use. When I was asked to be a "mystery reader" in my son's kindergarten class, I brought this book in. The kids LOVED the monkey, the lights & noises and the colorful pictures. If you can find this book, I would highly recommend picking up a copy!
