An American professor from Bismarck, North Dakota, and his garage mechanic buddy set out for Tibet to lift a curse and, in the process, find enlightenment. An irresistible adventure with a Zen heart. This description may be from another edition of this product.
My brother in law loaned me this novel for a weekend visit. I finished it in 2 days. It helps to know of some Buddhist notions, but the story also gives historical commentary, human soap opera, Buddhist concepts, and plain, laugh out loud travelogue. Rather than rehash the story, I favor the Literary Journal summary. Have fun with this one and learn a few things along the way.
