This book covers essential review material that can be used both for critical care certification & as a nursing student. I found the book to be concise, comprehensive & informative. I highly recommend it for the busy nurse or student who needs to make good use of their limited time schedules due to work or school. I found it very enjoyable reading.

This book is easy to read. The content follows the class information and gives you the rationale for the answers to the review questions. I have found this book to be very helpful.

I just recently took the ccrn exam and had every book out there. As books go, i liked this one the best. The content is laid out in outline form and it has alot of practice questions in the back. To me, this is more helpful than anything else. (For example another book that had crossword puzzles and word searches- who has time for that??)

I am studing with ICU nurses for the CCRN exam and we have a variety of books to study from. This book is very straight forward and to the point. It is in outline form with just enough info to either confirm your knowledge basis or to let you know that you need to "dig" for more. Each and every section is correlated with the outline from AACN for studing for CCRN exam. The rest is up to me - see you at the testing center.
