Great survey

Sport & International Poltics is the best survey available for introducing people to the many ways in which sport and politics blend. Although Houlihan focuses primarily on the IOC to the exclusion of much info on FIFA, ITF, etc, the book is generally outstanding. The one draw back is the price for what is a fairly short (250 pages) paperback. Recommended reading.
