When he finds Grandpa's toupee, Spencer invents a variety of terrific games, including Hairball Olympics and Wiggy the Singing Hair, and eventually convinces Grandpa that he does not need a toupee.... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Hair in the Air is a funny book about a boy who just can't seem to stay out of trouble. In this book, he goes into the forbidden zone of his grandfather's bedroom and is drawn to his toupee. Trouble is sure to follow. He has a busy imagination and clever, but mischievous, ideas. We use this book every year in our classroom for students just beginning to handle real chapter books. It does not bog them down and the antics of Spencer keeps them interested. We use a few different Spencer books, but Hair in the Air is my personal favorite.
A hilarious romp that is as funny to grown-ups as to kids

When I read "Hair In the Air" aloud to my third-grade class for the first time, we were all laughing so hard I could barely read! I passed it around to some of my co-workers to read to their classes, and everyone agreed it was one of the funniest things we had ever read.
