I am comletely spellbound by this book!

This book is amazing. I read it when I was a fourth grader after checking it out from my school library. I have been looking for this book for years, having forgotten the title until most recently. I loved, loved, loved this book, and I recommend this one for young and upcoming book lovers.

Spellfall is the story of a girl name Natalie or Nat for short. She is the normal girl with a stepmom, a drunk father, and a stepbrother who isn't nice all the time. Only one day at the store she discovers a shining wrapper. It turns out to be a spell. Then the next morining she is kidnapped and thrown into the world of magic. This story is great. In the main run it is based on the power of friendship. For example Merlin and Natalie. When Nat befriends Merlin she shows him that he is more than what his father thinks. And with this strengh he is able to save the beautiful Haven.

I think this is the best book in the world! I have read it four times. I wish Katherine Roberts would write a sequel really, really, really badly! I wish I could put 25,000 stars instead of 5. I recommend it.

I find this book a wonderful read right from the beginning when 12 year old Nathalie finds a "candy wrapper" which turns out actually to be a spell, to the time the book finishes(I won't give it away). All and all it is an excellent book and one I highy reccomend.

I think read this book because of it's amzing way to show imagination and reality in one. There is lovable animals that amaze you and give you a happy feeling , and there are human amotions that you can relate to.There is an evil villian that you can come to hate just like the characters in this book. You will find yourself mixed up in the adventures with the main character Natalie. You will be able to feel the feelings that Natalie feels with her family , her friend , and her mage hound katanaqui. This book reflects courage , hope , and love. The descriptions are wonderful! You can completly make a picture in your mind of what the author describes. This a wonderful book and I hope you will decide to be part of the magic of Spellfall!

Natalie thinks she is just an ordinary girl. She lives an ordinary life with her father, stepmother, and stepbrother. She misses her dead mother terribly. Her father has not been himself since she died. Natalie does not know that her mother had come from another world. One day in the supermarket parking lot, Natalie notices a glimmering wrapper. She has no knowledge that noticing this will lead to her being kidnapped. Natalie's captor knows that she has inherited her mother's power. He wants to force her to join his Spellclave, which will then destroy the magical world Natalie's mother came from, Earthaven. She escapes, aided by her captor's son, Merlin, who is as much a prisoner as Natalie herself is. Together, the two journey to Earthaven, where they discover a world unlike anything they ever imagined. But can they save Earthaven and return to their own world in time? I highly reccomend this enchanting book to readers who enjoy fantasy novels.
