Recently unemployed as a file clerk, Kay is afraid she'll have to put off job hunting until her leg heals. She's instantly drawn to Randi, whose kindness and gentle nature are a balm to Kay's wounded soul. Unfortunately, Randi lives several hundred miles away, not to mention she's much older than Kay.
