A curious cat has climbed into Tottering Tower--and he can't get back down! You can rescue him, but it won't be easy. In this tower, there are only ladders...and snakes. Choose a ladder--and hope that you don't meet a snake when you reach the top! If you do, you'll slide back down and have to try again! Puzzle fans will flip over this new take on a favorite game, as they look sharp--and watch out for snakes!

My son is mildly autistic and has a very vivid imagination. He not only works his way through the maze but makes up adventures involving all the little pictures.
Fun, Entertaining - and teaches good prereading skills too!

This book is excellent for developing the visual processing and clue finding skills that are needed to get ready to read, but it's so much fun and so silly that they never know that they are practicing a key skill! The spatial decision making aspect especially appeals to boys [I have three of varying ages] while I suspect that the funny little antics and questions asked by the mice might be more enticing to girls. I'm not being sexist, just acknowledging that there are often some gender-based preferences in processing information. It's all good skill practice. It's the kind of book you could look at a thousand times and notice something new each time that you didn't notice the last time you looked at it. Heck, I like to do the maze myself and search for the mice's missing items and I'm in my forties. This is a great thing to pull out when a child needs to be entertained quietly for a chunk of time. Most children under 4 will need adult help with the game, but it's still fun and quiet. I definitely recommend adding this book to your home library.
Fantastic and tons of fun!

The hands down favorite with my 5 year old- it has kept him captivated for HOURS mastering the maze and finding all the silly mice. I would highly recommend this as a great book for a B-day gift that any parent would love too.
