Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 20 years ago
Being an associate member of the BSC is perfect for Shannon, because it leaves her plenty of time for studying and all her activities. School is especially important to Shannon now, because if she keeps on her grade up in French, she'll be able to go on a special class trip to Paris. Lately, Shannon's been having problems with her mom. Mrs. Kilbourne is practically running Shannon's life. And there's a bigger prob. to all of this later.
Shannon Takes Charge!

In this book Shannon can go to paris for a class trip if she gets a good grade on her french test. Shannon is really excited, but then her mom decides to be a chaperone. Shannon decides to fail the test so she won't be humiliated by her mom. I think that that was a bad idea. This book didn't have much about the Baby-Sitters club in it. If you want a book with lots of baby-sitters club action, read #24 Kristy and the mother's day surprise. That is a very good book.
nicely written

I love the way the book was written! I wish we had more stories from Shannon, she is such an interesting and smart individual, but life isn't always easy for her at home. You'll see why when you read this book.
Excellent!!!

I loved this one. It was a nice spinoff. Not so much emphasis on the Baby-sitters club. Way to go, Ann!!
