Lots of great examples. I think you need to be at least marginally familiar with sewing techniques to really take advantage of this book. I'm a beginner and its a bit over my head but inspiring

Love the photography - you will want to make every one of these pillows. Everything you need to know is explained, and while you will need patience and precice sewing techniques to achive results even half as beautiful as those photographed, it is well worth the effort. Buy it - add it to your library, or give it as a gift - you won't be sorry.

I received my copy of "Sewing Luxurious Pillows (Creative Designs for Home Decor)" today. I opened the package, and sat down in my new recliner (one of the reasons I purchased this book), and began looking through it. I had thumbed through the first few pages, and I knew I had picked a winner! I was, for lack of a better term, impressed, not only with the vast selection of pillows that I can create using this book, but also with the very detailed instructions for crafting the fantastic pillows featured. The directions (including the illustrations) are invaluable for any seamstress. If anyone is looking for a book of pillow designs, this is it! It has designs and ideas for any taste and decor, from simple to luxurious, from art deco to Victorian. I especially liked the "how to's" for creating tassels and trims. I can't wait to get started!

Innovative designs make this book fun to read. The step photos help you understand how each pillow goes together. Unique fabric treatments, unusual fabrics, and different combinations of sewing techniques make this book different from other pillow books. These are not the ordinary "typical" pillows in other books. I love the star!
