It is a fairly comprehensive social analysis that describes the Canadian mindset: recent past, current trends, the causes behind some of the paradigm shifts mentioned in the book. The findings appear to be based on a wide range of studies and statistics, but unfortunately the authors do not mention their references in footnotes or in a bibliography. The book describes in great lengths the "Tory Touch" that differentiates Canadians from the Americans.
