If you plan on taking scrapbooking to a higher level than the usual cut and paste, this book is for you. Plus, it is not for the beginner. It is for the very creative mind, the person who has that extra knack to be crafty and skillful. Great ideas are here, and you will explore attaching memorabilia, pockets, buttons, tags, pennants, felts, cords, etc. You will learn stamping, embossing stitching, piercing and painting. I like the idea of photo mosaic. Pages are colorful with complete instructions, ideas, examples. Included are templates, motifs, and mottoes. The author, Sarah Beaman trained as a fashion designer and author of Complete Guide to Card Making and Fast Cards. This 2005 book is an excellent source to challenge yourself with scrapbooking.
