Since the Shadow King is one of the Darkness' first children, Chiri and Dai are forced to come to terms with the fact that he's not the only bad guy after them now. The MidKnight is another of these children, and he wants to bring the battle to the Obsidian Maze and deal with these wretched children once and for all
