Rule Golden was WONDERFUL!

Damon Knight is an extremely talented author. Rule Golden (a story about an Alien who imposes a reverse golden rule on humans, "Be done by as you do.") is an excellent example of his writing. I can't imagine that the things that have happened since this story was written (as the only other reviewer maintains) could take the edge off this story. No aliens have landed, have they? People are still perfectly willing to kill others, aren't they? Perhaps he doesn't like the morality of it, but that's rather like saying that the bible or the writings of Buddha are out of date.
