Vicki Cox is a multi-talented story teller whose "voice" is pure Ozarks. I enjoyed getting to know some of the characters who populate the region through the pages of Vicki's wonderful book. Vicki has captured the soul of the Ozarks. As a writer, I appreciate even more her accomplishment. If you just read one book about the facinating "Hill People" this is the one.
