The comics with the best (which often means the weirdest) ideas are sometimes diminished by having somewhat inferior graphics, but Mr Lee manages to give us both absolutely top-notch drawings AND ideas that are so weird and offbeat that -- I can assure you -- you'll find none of them "boring"... each of them will either make you laugh out VERY loud, get you enraged, make you think deep, make you say "oh boy how TRUE!", make you feel insulted and personally targeted, or more than one of the above. A MUST!!!
Humor that cuts deep

This cartoonist has a keen eye and sly wit. In Pardon My Planet, Vic Lee is able to cut to some of the most complex foibles of a relationship in a deft and seemingly simple panel. Some of these "gags" may take a few seconds til the joke hits you, others are laugh out loud, blow milk through the nose funny. I've become a fan. This book is a perfect reference map into our complex and neurotic psyches.
