Very bad translation that is nearly unintelligible, full of technical errors, misleading statements

This book, translated from a very tortured and technically inaccurate German text by someone Who has no technical knowledge of architectural history or the terminology of architecture, is one of the worst books about Palladio and his buildings. Some chapters provide multiple copies of almost the exact same photograph, even though the text makes reference to other aspects of the building which are not pictured. The only positive thing that can be said about this book is that it is attractive and well produced and the illustrations are of high-quality. However if you are looking for a book that you can actually read and understand, this is not the book for you. I paid $35 for this book and feel that it was a complete waste of my money.
