Want to be a OCP without experience.....

If you do not have any oracle experience and want to pass the OCP exam without spending a lot of time, please buy this book. Because of this book, I have passed the OCP exam within 6 months. If you read every chapter and do the exercise, you should pass 'PL/SQL', 'Administration', 'Backup and recovery', 'Net8'exam. For 'Tunning' exam, you could buy 'Oracle Performance Tuning Tips & Techniques' for your reference.

This study guide is a very complete and well written reference for the OCP DBA exams. Using this book and the Exam Crams you can't fail.
Enough material to learn from

Having never used oracle, this book brought me up to speed and (unlike exam crams) I actually learned something when the smoke cleared. Of course the practice questions weren't like the real test, but I have yet to find a book that DOES have similiar questions. I like it because it's concise (less pages per test than an exam cram without leaving anything out) and with the help of self test practice tests, the only book I need to pass the exams (I've passed the first three this month).

If your are looking to get Oracle certified this is the book you need. I read this book in about 3 months. I passed the test with flying colors. The book is easy read and understand, not like other technical books on computers. It also is a good look up guide for question.
